You can hear it.
You can feel it.
We can create it.
BE Collective creates corporate entertainment and event experiences rooted in New Orleans and built to travel — bringing together national show bands, live music, corporate DJs, specialty acts, immersive performance, headline talent booking and production support for conferences, conventions, galas, destination programs and branded events across the U.S. and internationally.
The difference is in the feel.
New Orleans music has a feel that is difficult to imitate. We grow up surrounded by groove — in church, in the streets, at parades and through generations of jazz, blues, rock and roll, soul and funk. Horns, drums, syncopation and movement are part of the culture long before they become part of the job.
That history lives in the way our artists play contemporary music. It is not a genre limitation; it is a feel — the pocket, swing, creativity and instinct that make the same song land differently. The best performances do more than sound right. They hit you in the chest and make a room move.
The way we perform is New Orleans too. Horns can step off the stage. Artists connect with guests. We know how to build a celebration, raise the energy without forcing it and take the room on a ride from arrival through dinner to the dance floor.
Then we pair that instinct with New York-level polish: preparation, presentation, pacing and production discipline built for high-level corporate and luxury events.
Built here. Ready to travel anywhere the program takes us.
Our home is New Orleans, but our work is not limited by geography. BE Collective produces corporate programs across national and international markets, traveling with talent, creative direction and production support as the event requires.
That means clients can bring the character, musicianship and energy of New Orleans into a destination program without giving up the organization, presentation and consistency expected from a national event partner.
BE Collective is built to plug into the planning team. We coordinate with DMCs, corporate event planners, producers, venues and A/V teams around the run of show, technical requirements, transitions and guest flow so entertainment feels integrated into the program from the beginning.
Experiences built to move the room.
Blue Rhythm and GOT Groove anchor the collection as full-size National / International Show Bands. Both are built around full-size core lineups and can be expanded with additional horns, vocalists, dancers and specialty performers. D’ivine Play and The Hype provide more compact, scalable live-band formats when the room calls for a different footprint.
Blue Rhythm
@bluerhythm_bandNew Orleans-influenced variety band with New York polish.
A large-format variety show band moving seamlessly through current pop, dance, rock, funk, soul and classics. Blue Rhythm blends deep vocal talent and a three-piece horn section with the groove, spontaneity and audience connection of New Orleans musicians — then delivers it with the preparation and presentation expected on national and international corporate stages.
GOT Groove
@gotgroovenolaHigh-energy show experience built to transform the room.
A dynamic variety show band designed around momentum, interaction and a packed dance floor. GOT Groove moves through current hits, throwbacks and party staples while layering in the brass-driven energy, rhythmic feel and spontaneity that make New Orleans performers distinctive — without limiting the show to any one genre.
National acts, celebrity talent, speakers & comedians.
When a corporate program calls for a nationally touring artist, celebrity performer, comedian, keynote or motivational speaker, or recognizable host or personality, BE Collective provides one experienced point of contact for the booking engagement.
Our National & Celebrity Booking Department supports talent sourcing, availability, offer strategy, contracting, advancing, rider review, travel and hospitality coordination, production coordination and event-day integration. We manage the engagement on the buyer side — not the artist’s career — so the talent fits the program and the details are handled from shortlist through show close.
Reach out to our National & Celebrity Booking Department to discuss talent, availability and event scope.
national@becollective.liveD’ivine Play
@dplaybandA versatile live-band format that scales from six to twelve pieces, making it easy to shape the footprint and musical impact around the room while preserving a polished, guest-connected show.
The Hype
A seven-piece format built for strong vocals, contemporary repertoire and a compact production footprint — ideal when the room calls for high energy without the scale of a larger horn-driven show.
DJ flexibility. Live energy.
Each DJ can stand alone or become a hybrid experience with live musicians. It keeps the flexibility and range of a DJ while adding the interaction, movement and visual energy of live performance.
DJ Flowerchild
Confident programming, strong musical instincts and an elevated event presentation.
Promo VideosDJ Medina
A polished DJ experience with an instinct for pacing, movement and crowd connection.
Promo VideosAdd a live layer to the DJ.
Live musicians can move through the room, interact with guests and turn the DJ set into a more visual, physical experience.
More ways to make the room feel alive.
Specialty acts can headline a moment, shape the atmosphere or become part of a larger concept. Immersive performers and dancers elevate the visual experience, complement the sound and give guests more to engage with than a traditional stage alone.
Honky Tonk Chicks
Three-part harmony, choreography and a theatrical visual presentation inspired by ’90s country and classic honky-tonk. Available as a trio with tracks or expanded with a live rhythm section.
Promo VideosJohn Gray Jazz Experience
A trumpet-led New Orleans jazz and soul experience that moves comfortably through jazz, brass, hip-hop, soul and funk. Available in quartet, quintet and sextet configurations.
Promo Videos
Russell Welch
Django-inspired gypsy jazz shaped by Mississippi blues and New Orleans jazz — equally suited to featured listening, cocktails and sophisticated background music. Available from solo through expanded ensemble formats.
VideoMarkes Johnson
A sax-forward specialty performance that can function as a featured moment, atmospheric layer or interactive addition to a larger program.
Promo VideosDancers
Choreographed or roaming dancers raise the energy, interaction and wow effect. They complement the sound, activate the room visually and give guests a clear invitation to move with the experience.
Bring the experience off the stage.
Roaming performers, live musicians, visual characters and custom concepts can extend the event theme into the room — creating spontaneous, high-touch moments that feel personal rather than programmed from a distance.
Build the entire guest journey.
The experience does not have to begin when the headliner starts. BE Collective can shape arrivals, cocktails, dinner, transitions, after-parties and signature New Orleans moments so the program feels connected from beginning to end.
Cocktail Music
Instrumental jazz trios, jazz trio with vocalist, string trio or quartet, harp and solo violin can establish the tone before the main program begins.
Dinner
Refined live music built to support the room rather than compete with it — including jazz, strings and configurations that can transition naturally into the reception.
After-Party
Extend the night with a DJ or hybrid format designed for a smaller footprint, a shift in energy and a clean transition into late-night programming.
Second Line
Second line bands, parade coordination and complementary specialty performers create a distinctly New Orleans transition guests can participate in — not simply watch.

Johnny Hozey
Johnny Hozey was raised inside live entertainment — surrounded by performers, musicians, festivals, events and the work required behind the scenes to turn an idea into an experience. His own career began as a drummer, including as the original drummer for D’ivine Play and Blue Rhythm.
That performer perspective grew into festival production, artist management, production management for major shows and international entertainment curation. Today it shapes BE Collective’s approach: understand what the room should feel like, then build the talent, pacing, logistics and production required to make it happen.
